We are KSU Solar – a student engineering organization under the Mike Wiegers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Previous projects include the designing and construction of a solar powered car for a competition we created with another university, the development of a system to allow laptop usage in a Madagascar middle school, via solar power, and a solar powered radio-controlled airplane. This year, we updated our solar car design and have also branched out to using the sun to power speakers. We utilize interdisciplinary skills in engineering, ranging from printed circuit board (PCB) design to computer aided design (CAD) to programming. Visit our ‘projects’ page for more info!

Meetings are in DUE 0039 on Mondays (general meeting) and Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm.
